Carol had the week off from her job at the Junior High School, and we went to Peoria to see our kids and grandkids there. We had a wonderful time flying kites, watching The Rescuers, swimming, telling bedtime stories and just hanging out with the grandchildren, attending and visiting with friends at Bethany Baptist Church, working on the 100 year old farmhouse that is to be converted into offices for the new church plant, and, of course, getting to spend time visiting with Daniel and Whitney, and catch up with some of what is going on in their busy lives. It was also our first opportunity to meet Ellie, our newest grandchild, who arrived into the Bennett clan from Guatemala just 7 weeks ago.
mother, and my brother and his family. Dear Daryl,
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful pictures! I am so glad you all got to go see the grandchildren. I know for sure what a blessing that is! I'm glad you got to go see your mom, too. Precious times all around. Looking forward to seeing you all some time this spring or summer.
Love you,
Mama Ruby
